This year’s „Cinema for Peace – Gala“, was for the benefit of the children in Darfur as well as Tibetan refugees and it took place in the Concert Hall at the Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin.

Hosts of honour were Richard Gere, Sharon Stone, Catherine Deneuve and Christopher Lee.

In addition to UNICEF, Amnesty International, the refugee charity HEALING THE DIVIDE and INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN FOR TIBET were introduced as partners of Cinema for Peace.
